Qld: Three escape Darling Downs prison
A search is underway in Queensland for three men who escaped from the Darling Downs
Correctional Centre .. near Toowoomba overnight.
Police say the men .. all aged in their 20s .. are likely to be dressed in civilian clothes.
They were noticed missing during a routine check at the jail about one o'clock (AEST)
this morning.
The Chief Inspector of Prisons will appoint an independent inspector to investigate
the circumstances of the escape.
Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers.
+++ 25-year-old WAYNE ROCKY COOMBES was serving three years .. 11 months for break
and enter offences and armed robbery.
He's described as Caucasian and 176cm tall .. with hazel eyes .. brown cropped hair
.. and a skull tattoo on his shoulder.
+++ 29-year-old JAMES ALAN RYAN was serving five months for stalking .. theft and property
and drug offences. He's described as Caucasian and 174cm tall .. with a slim build
.. hazel eyes and brown shaved hair.
He has a dragon tattoo on his chest and the word mum on his inner right arm.
+++ 23-year-old PETR STUCHLIK was serving seven years and eight months for assault
.. property offences .. fraud .. and theft.
He's described as Caucasian and 185cm tall .. with a slim build .. green eyes and short
brown hair.
He has a pistol tattoo on his abdomen .. a panther on his back .. a leopard's head
on his chest and another tattoo on his right ankle.
