QLD: Mackenroth refuses to debate the economy

BRISBANE, Jan 14 AAP - Liberal leader Bob Quinn has challenged Treasurer Terry Mackenroth
to a debate on the state of the Queensland economy.
Mr Mackenroth today claimed the Coalition had already made $1.6 billion in election promises.
He said Queensland's economic credentials would be "left in tatters" if the Opposition
gained government on February 7.
But Mr Quinn, who is the Opposition's treasury spokesman, denied the charge.
